Five things Jamaica will consider in Bob Woolmer’s Murder
Posted in: My CornerI waited until it was officially out. And now it is official, Robert Woolmer, the coach of Pakistan was strangulated until he was killed. Questions have been raised as soon as Bob was found dead. But now these question will come with more volume and with more punch in them.
The police will have to solve, not only the reason for killing this great coach, but also who did it, and what are the names associated with the murderer. But the Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF) will have to come out with proper solutions. Because there are quite a few things linked when an ‘international’ personality is killed!
But here is what I ‘guess’ will the police like to ask:
1. Bob was a big man, and to strangulate him, it needs another big man (or men).
2. Who was the last person to visit Bob?
3. How were Bob’s relations with Inzamam, and PCB in general? ( With the statements made so for, it seems there is going to hardly any help from Pakistan) Also one has to note if Pakistan and Jamaica have clear understanding of what is going to happen if all of the Pakistan team members returned to their homes!
4. Hansie Cronje, former captain of South Africa shared an excellent rapport with Bob Woolmer. Also Hansie was killed in an air mishap, under mysterious circumstances. Is there any relation to this murder and to that? (South Africa police promised help to Jamaica)
5. Or apart from these all, is match fixing involved. And then, who were the biggest ‘players’ of this match fixing scandal.
Astrologers predicted that this event happening around back to back Lunar and Solar eclipse in the year 2007 (2+0+0+7=9) may be one of the costliest events of the year, and will also be violent! And somehow I have a feeling that they murder mystery will be left unsolved. Hope I’m proved wrong.
