Pakistan lost to Ireland…that’s old news. These things happen, especially in a game like cricket! Sometimes minnows have to leave their mark. And then suddenly Bob Woolmer, Pakis coach is reported dead, around 24 hours after the loss! The reasons and cause of his death are still shrouded in clouds of mystery.

And raining from these clouds, came Inzamam Ul Haq’s retirement from ODI and team captaincy! Well after all these turbulent times, one would have though otherwise. But as Inzy himself says, that his timing may seem ridiculous, but this was necessary!

True it is necessary. One hears that there was this talk of arresting all the Pakistani team players along with Bob Woolmer! And if such situations had to be avoided, the head of the captain was the only way to sort it out. I wonder, if these boys will like to return to their homes at all!

But it looks like Pakistan has had enough of losses. I wish I were not a Zimbabwean cricketer, because all these must have taken a toll, and I know that Pakistan want a way out of all this. Lets wait and see, how the Pakis will handle their losses, a match, a captain, and more importantly a life!
