Last night, I saw West Indies crawling at 183-6 or something like that. But as I kept watching Smith started hitting hard, and before end the last five overs gave some 50 odd runs! Thats’ it I switched my TV off and went to bed, almost guessing the result.

But what I liked about the highlights was that this was a match of the most inconsistent team in the present cricket world. It was not long ago that Pakistan had beaten South Africa fairly easily and West Indies got out for 86 runs!

But the last match was clearly a match of weaknesses vs weaknesses covered! So West Indies, who made the best of Pakis weaknesses, ended as the winners.

Final score: West Indies - 241/9  Pakistan 187/10 (47.2) !
I have already read in the news that West Indies, if they played like yesterday might go far in the tournament. Well, these paparazzi get carried away (or want us to be) with half baked opinions. Pakistan have to work on their bowling, and opening slot. But even West Indies will have to make the best use of Top order. However the best part of having a tourney in your home is that you have bowlers, who know the conditions. That is the only  positive thing for Windies bowlers. Otherwise they are no good!
