Posted in: Cricket News & UpdatesMarlon Samuels has been included in the West Indies’ 15-man World Cup squad despite match- fixing allegations. The selectors have gone ahead including the all-rounder because they haven’t heard anything from ICC so far. The selectors have named 19 year old Kieron Pollard of Trinidad in place of Rayad Emrit who played in the recent series against India. The other two who were sidelined are Runako Morton and Fidel Edwards.
West Indies start their World Cup campaign against Pakistan, in Jamaica, on March 13.
