A Run Feast at Baroda
Posted in: Cricket Players & MatchesThe West Indians will be all geared up to level the series and leave the sub-continent on a winning note. The Indians will go in full strength as they should be desperate to win a series at home.
The wicket at Baroda has been a run feast and if one may recall the one day series that the Windies played against India in 2002, it chased a 300 plus score set by India with Chris Gayle yet again coming to the party scoring a ton.
The Windies do have happy memories of this ground and would like to continue in the same manner. This match also would see the last of Lara in India since he has already planned to retire after the world cup.
The team winning the toss will surely elect to field and chase as both have been comfortable in chasing rather than setting a target. Looks like a 300 plus score is again on the cards, but the morning dew will hardly help the bowlers initially.
