Hurray! Team India does it yet again!

Posted in: Cricket News & Updates

Each and every Indian cricket fan knew (including me) that India will make sure of loosing the test series to South Africa 2-1. How many times we have done this I’ve lost count.

I feel it’s only India who can score 400 plus in the first innings and go on to loose a test. The writing was on the wall from day two onwards, the same old mistakes were repeated.

I know it’s easy to assess a performance sitting outside but how can you excuse players who lack common sense. To start of with—why to recall Munaf when he had not fully recovered damn well knowing it’s a track that was as dry as the Thar, then why Harbhajan wasn’t given a chance? When Sehwag wasn’t performing, why was he given a chance?

The dismissals of Indian batsmen were just pathetic, and the two run outs were just not necessary but being Indians we are too kind to our opponents. The inclination to win was just not there from day one. There was no application at all and all we have are the same old sick excuses.

Do we have the courage to drop Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dravid or Laxman for that matter? The answer is ‘NO’, we will continue with this form and work harder for loosing more consistently.
